GOODYEAR STORMWELT WELTED

Like most of our collection, the Stevenson model is made with Goodyear welted, an assembly which guarantees a longevity to the shoe and the possibility, once worn, of re-sole it.

EXCEPTIONAL LEATHER

The Waxy Commander from the Stead Tannery, an English company located in the Northampton region that has been supplying the most famous shoe manufacturers since 1890.
This rough leather, also known as rough-out suede, has a raw aspect that makes each pair unique and that will naturally develop a patina over time.
Particularly resistant and robust, it has natural waterproofing properties.

WIDE LAST - THE 863

Developed specifically for Stevenson, the 863 last is defined by its short, generous proportions. It creates a compact silhouette that is all the more true to the spirit of the mountain boots. Its rounded, subtly upturned toe cap gives it a distinctive profile and an unmistakably rugged character.

Goodyear Stormwelt welted construction

This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.

Small peculiarity, we opted for a bead welt or Stormwelt assembly for more waterproofness.

COMMANDO VIBRAM

Italian made, the Vibram sole has soon become an iconic rubber sole. With a bold and original look, it is made of 100% natural rubber, which offers the advantage of being both insulating and adherent, making it perfectly adapted to cold and rainy seasons.
Its heel is called "baraquette", which means that the small stitch goes all the way around the shoe.
