The idea of patina came to us as a natural inspiration. The 7L Maison opened its first showroom in 2010 in Paris’ 9th arrondissement, delighting discerning clients for over 13 years, as well as those with simpler tastes.
Blending art and technique, Septième Largeur offers a palette of colors “limited only by your imagination.” Whether extravagant or understated, in vibrant hues or soft pastels, anything is possible. 2023 World Patina Champion
Organized annually by the Shoegazing Blog, The Shoe Snob & Saphir Médaille d'Or, this competition has brought together the best patina artisans since 2019 during a full day of competition at the London Super Trunk Show.
For his qualification, the Patina Master created a blue-toned patina on a Lapo RS loafer. His precise gradient work earned him a spot among the top 3 finalists.
The final took place in the heart of London on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Over the course of 5 hours, the three finalists had to create their very best work. He chose a green-toned patina, which secured him first place.
The entire 7L Team is proud of this achievement, a wonderful recognition of the craftsmanship and expertise of our Maison!
