Goodyear Stormwelt welted

Like most of our collection, the Anduze model is made with goodyear welted, an assembly which guarantees a longevity to the shoe and the possibility, once worn, of re-sole it.

AN EXCEPTIONAL LEATHER

We chose a Sand-colored suede from the Italian tannery Sciarada. In the heart of Tuscany, this house has existed since 1977 and was one of the first to be ISO 14001 certified for its environmental efforts.
Unlike the urban legends that circulate against it, this 100% calf leather is not afraid of water. No waterproofing is necessary either, it is already treated for wet weather thanks to its water-repellent properties.

WIDE LAST - THE 237

How to combine the generosity of large lasts with the elegance of more slender ones? The answer is last 235. It is a rather wide fit in EE, but which is slightly refined at the end of the shoe to give it this very unique line. The hard end is slightly muffled.

Goodyear Stormwelt welted construction

This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.

Small peculiarity, we opted for a bead welt or Stormwelt assembly for more waterproofness.

RUBBER SOLE

Resistant and supple, we opted for a sand-colored rubber sole to preserve the harmony of the suede calf.
The rubber has several advantages; waterproofing, adhesion, insulation and of course flexibility
