Goodyear welted

Like most of our collection, the Alexandre is made with Goodyear welted, an assembly which guarantees a longevity to the shoe and the possibility, once worn, of re-sole it.

WIDE LAST - THE 206

Our slightly more generous last of our classic collection. It is an EE width, English inspired. It will fit perfectly standard to wide feet.

An exceptional leather

We exclusively work with European tanneries renowned for their craftmanship and the quality of the leather they offer.
This chocolate full-grain calfskin, colored flat by hand directly in our Manufacture, has the advantage of being resistant while remaining dressed, with the possibility of glazing on it.

This manual coloring gives your Septième Largeur this unique shade, which will evolve over time through reflections and a natural patina.

LEATHER SOLE

Demonstration of 7L's know-how, the work of the sole is also its signature.
This is a close channel stitching, the shoes seam is therefore protected from the wear of the first ports. Under the arch of the foot is a metal bevelled waist and fiddleback, a technique inspired by shoemakers and rare in the footwear industry.

Goodyear welted construction

This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.
