Goodyear welted construction

Like most of our collection, the Ravel is made with Goodyear welted, an assembly which guarantees a longevity to the shoe and the possibility, once worn, of re-sole it.

AN EXCEPTIONAL LEATHER

The Black box calf from the 150 years old german Weinheimer Tannery. This full-grain calfskin, tinted in the mass, has the advantage of being resistant while remaining dressed with the possibility of making a "glaçage".

The perfect balance between a round and short English shape while remaining dressed and chic.

Goodyear welted construction

This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.

Leather sole

Demonstration of 7L's know-how, the work of the sole is also its signature. This is a close channel stitching, the shoes seam is therefore protected from the wear of the first ports. Under the arch of the foot is a metal bevelled waist and fiddleback with a double wooden pegging, a technique inspired by shoemakers and rare in the footwear industry.

As for the heel, it's made up of several layers of leather, each still applied by hand today.
