exceptional leather

Chocolate Suede Calf from Stead Tannery in England, a company that no longer needs to be introduced and that has been supplying the greatest shoe manufacturers in the Northampton region since 1890. Contrary to urban legends, this 100% calf leather does not fear water. No waterproofing is needed either, it is already treated for wet weather thanks to its water repellent properties.

Wide last - the 7751

Emblematic model of the French loafers, its 7751 last - wide and short - is very versatile and will match all your everyday outfits.

A double-needle hand stitching

The tray is made of two leather parts joined together and hand-stitched with double needles. This technical gesture is still exclusively carried out with the force of the arms. This method, which is less and less common, is the result of the know-how of our craftsmen. It gives cachet, a certain irregularity and therefore a personality to each shoe.

Goodyear Stormwelt welted construction

This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.

Small peculiarity, we opted for a bead welt or Stormwelt assembly for more waterproofness.

Commando Vibram

Italian made, the Vibram sole has soon become an iconic rubber sole. With a bold and original look, it is made of 100% natural rubber, which offers the advantage of being both insulating and adherent, making it perfectly adapted to cold and rainy seasons.

Its heel is called "baraquette", which means that the small stitch goes all the way around the shoe.
