Sizing
In order to choose the right size, we advise you to measure your largest foot by respecting these different indications.
- Wear the type of socks you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
- Print the measurement sheet and record your measurements on it. No printer? Do not worry, a blank sheet of paper works just as well.
- Measure both of your feet. You may get slightly different measurements; in that case, use the larger one.
- Refer to the size conversion chart.
NB : Please note that this method is universal and is provided for informational purposes only.

NB : These conversions are based on dress shoes.
It is more difficult to determine your dress shoe size based on sneaker sizing. However, as a general rule: for our thin lasts, take half a size down, and for our wide lasts, take one full size down.
- If you have never been fitted by us but own a pair from one of our peers, you may be able to estimate your size at 7L. However, please note that these correspondences are only approximations. Each brand uses different lasts, which do not all fit the same way.
- You can find a detailed article on how to choose your size at the following link, including a comparison chart with other brands to help guide your choice: https://www.septiemelargeur.fr/en/blogs/news/le-guide-7l-pour-choisir-sa-pointure
We offer both “thin” lasts and “wide” lasts:
- Thin lasts: 174, 198, 199, 203, 229, 249, 790
- Wide lasts: 206, 230, 235, 237, 238, 255, 262, 909, 7505, 7751
As a general rule, our shoes run large.
- If you are already fitted in our shoes, we recommend keeping the same size when choosing a shoe with the same last.
- If you change the type of last, an adjustment may be necessary:
- For a wide last compared to a thin last, we recommend going half a size down.
- For a thin last compared to a wide last, we recommend going half a size up.
- The shoe tree size should be chosen based on your shoe size, as well as the specific model in question.
- To make the right choice, we invite you to consult our size guide specially designed for our shoe trees. It is available on each shoe product page via the “Size chart” link.
A belt size can be determined in two ways:
- From an old belt:
The size of a belt is measured from the end of the buckle to the middle hole of the belt. - From waist circumference:
You can also measure your waist to determine the most suitable size. We invite you to consult our belt size guide, available on each belt product page via the “Size chart” link.
