- Our approach is to offer quality pieces at the right price all year round, in order to democratise top-of-the-range shoes. By keeping our margins under control, we are able to offer a competitive price/quality ratio that has been recognised in the industry for its fairness.
- To achieve this, we limit the quantities we produce to those we feel we can sell. This enables us to avoid devalued stocks, which would have to be sold at a discount under any form of promotion that we do not wish to encourage.
- It is for these two reasons that we are unfortunately unable to offer any welcome offers or promotional codes.
- We offer a collection of customizable shoes and leather goods, available within our patina shoe collection. This allows you to choose and adapt the color of your products according to your preferences. The available patinas can be viewed in our catalog as well as through our patina simulator.
- It is also possible to create a fully customized patina. To do so, simply add the custom patina option to your cart in addition to the patina shoes of your choice. We then invite you to send your inspiration by email to contact@septiemelargeur.fr. The Patina Studio will handle the realization of your project and will not hesitate to contact you if any clarification is needed regarding your creation.
- NB: all our patinas are handmade by our patina artist in our Patina Studio in Paris. A lead time of 4 to 6 weeks should be expected for the completion of a patina.
- You can check the availability of an item in-store directly on our e-shop. To do so, go to the product page of the item you are interested in, select the desired size, then click on “Find in store” to view availability by store.
- NB: if the product is not currently available in-store but is available online, you also have the option to place an order on our e-shop and have it delivered to the store of your choice via Click&Collect.
- We are sorry to hear about this situation, and we invite you to contact our customer service so that we can assist you and provide a solution as soon as possible.

- It is recommended to try on the shoes on a rug or carpet in order to avoid any marks or scratches on the soles. Leather-soled models can be particularly easily marked, even indoors on parquet or tiled floors.
- The products must remain in brand-new condition, only tried on and not worn.
- To check that your shoes are the correct size, several elements should be considered during fitting:
1. Absence of pain
- A well-fitting shoe should not cause excessive pain. A slight pressure at the beginning is normal, but you should not feel pain, especially at the heel or toes. Your toes should not touch the front of the shoe: a shoe may stretch in width, but it will not lengthen.
2.Foot support while walking
- Take a few steps in the shoes. Your heel should not slip out of the shoe when walking. Too much space at the back may indicate that the size is too large.
3. Proper fit of the last
- At the forefoot (metatarsophalangeal joint), there should not be too much empty space, as this may create unsightly creases in the leather over time.
Conversely, this area should not feel compressed: slight tension is normal on the instep, but no pain should be felt. - If you feel too tight, it may be due to an unsuitable shoe last. In this case, a wider last or an open-lacing model (such as a derby) may be more appropriate.
- Finally, make sure there is not too much empty space at the arch of the foot, as excessive space may indicate that the shoe is too wide.
