"I bought the Ernest boots with a custom patina. When I opened the box that evening, the boots seemed a little dull. But in brighter light, and particularly after I had shined the boots, they lit-up as I had first anticipated. The size ran slightly large, which is better than slightly small. When I wore a thicker pair of socks, the boots fit great and looked even better."
